James Muhammad Taylor

Picture
James Muhammad Taylor was sentenced to life in prison but had his sentence commuted by the board of pardons in 2025. He is continuing the work that he did inside with PAR (People Against Recidivism) Recycle, which includes speaking engagements.

He hopes to extend PAR into a non-profit, self-help organization for prisoners, returning citizens, and their families as well as creating a re-entry zone, where "prisoners can live and work with housing, business, and other help."

By building self-reliance in prisoners and those in re-entry, constructive citizens are created and reintegration replaces recidivism.
